Pintrest Challenge....

So here is my OFFICIAL first pintrest creation... Here is my little crochet pumpkin I made the other night... It was pretty simple and way fast to make!!! I love it... I am now working on a BIGGER pumpkin which is taking FOREVER!!! and then i want to make a ghost or candy corn garland... I think it will be fun.... especially since we are poor.... to make some holiday decorations!!
I think this purse turned out pretty cute... Its for a friends daughter for her birthday! Her daughter likes to put her purses over her shoulder like a satchel so I only did one strap... only thing was the purse was pretty heavy and was stretching out the handle pretty bad so I braided a long sturdy chain and weaved it into the center of the strap... and poof!!! it worked:) YEA! Well hope you enjoyed seeing what I have been TRYING to create this past week:)

and P.S. I will try and keep you updated on my fun pintrest challenge...

Baby stuff...

Here is a little binkey clip I made for my sisters baby... SOOO EASY and SUPER FAST!! The worst thing was waiting for the suspender clips to come in the mail!

Here it is on my daughter... Kind of blurry but I liked that you could see it straight on...
Here is a side view... Anyway I think its sweet and cute! Saw the idea on pintrest! I am doing a personal pintrest challenge... I figured I spend way too much time pinning things and not actually doing those things I pin!! SO my challenge is to try and do at least one thing from pintrest each week:)
Made these cute little booties for my soon to be niece also:) I think they turned out really cute!

Skirts!!!

So for my brother in laws wedding my mother in law and I had this cute idea that we could make some skirts to match the colors of the wedding... WELL turns out that she read the pattern, told me what to do, and the I ENDED up doing MOST OF the sewing!!! AHHHH.... I don't even sew people!!!! The cool thing is that I think i learned ALOT from doing these skirts AND it made me want to fix my own sewing machine and tackle new projects.
Here is a picture of the toddler vs. newborn skirts... I had to make up my own newborn pattern because there was nothing for less then 12 months... SOOO that was fun:) BUT i think they turned out pretty cute:)

A little better view of the skirt:)

First Blanket EVER!!!

So my sister is having a baby in January!!! yea! and she is thinking of doing her nursery Grey and Purples:) So this is what I came up with:)
I think it turned out super cute... I kind of love it:)

Hope Baby Kinzley Loves it too:)

Games

SOOOO I made a crochet TIC-TAC-TOE game for my son to play with at church... It actually turned out pretty cool... It even has a built in pocket to put the pieces in and then a button and loop so you can roll it up for storage...:) I like how it turned out and it makes for some great quiet fun at church:)
I was able to teach preschool this last week... We were learning about the number three, letter T, Color red, and the shape Triangle. So I decided to make some bean bags for the kids to do a Triangle Toss... They are super ugly so don't look too close but I did it... and the kids had fun! THE BIGGEST ACCOMPLISHMENT about this whole thing was the fact that I fixed my sewing machine!!! Its my GRANDMAS OLDEST sewing machine... needless to say... It still needs a lot of work but I got it going good enough to make these little guys:)

Finger Puppets... and Bean Bags

SOOOO... My mother in law really wanted Five Little Ducks... SO that she could sing the duck song with her little niece... SO of course I HAD to make a mommy duck as well.... AND....
 A cow.....
 and a pig...
 and a Rooster/Chicken...
Anyway these were super fun to make... but actually take quite a bit of time to make one of these little guys:)
My favorite part of them are the tails... I just think they are too cute:)
One day I was bored and thought it would be fun to make little bean bags for Callin and Tinzley to play with... These were also pretty fun to make and didn't take TOO long... But because you don't want the beans to fall out you have to do it super tight which makes your fingers tired after a while... But the kids love them and my husband likes to juggle them too:) So they were a success:)

More BEANIES!

Here are all the hats I made for my sisters kids:)
I decided that my daughters doll needed a beanie to match her own... :)

My sisters friend really wanted Shark hats for her boys.... I think they turned out pretty cool!!!
Here was my first big shipment to Cali:) Thanks for helping me get to California in January!!!
Its so fun to be able to make baby gifts!! For some reason I love the idea of giving away a totally original handmade gift... Here is a hat and some booties for my friends little boy!
And here are some more hats that I made for my other friends little TWINS!!! I think they turned out very cute... then I HAD to make matching booties and thought that it would be SOO CUTE to add little monster claws:) I LOVE how they turned out!!! And whats even more perfect is they these will probably fit around Halloween!!! So fun!
